How to Downgrade Your PS3 Firmware with Rogero CEX-3.55 CFW V3.7.PUP
If you have a PS3 that is running on a custom firmware (CFW) version higher than 3.55, you may want to downgrade it back to 3.55 for various reasons. For example, you may want to install a different CFW, use some homebrew applications, or play some older games that require 3.55 or lower.
However, downgrading your PS3 firmware is not as simple as installing a lower version from the XMB or the recovery menu. You need to use a special downgrader PUP file that can bypass the system checks and allow you to install 3.55 CFW over any higher CFW version.
One of the most popular and reliable downgrader PUP files is Rogero CEX-3.55 CFW V3.7.PUP, which was created by the well-known PS3 developer Rogero. This PUP file can downgrade your PS3 from any CFW version (3.55 to 9.99) back to Rogero CEX-3.55 CFW V3.7, which is a stable and feature-rich 3.55 CFW.
